My husband and I both agree that the person who built our house either had the worst taste or else walked into the local home building supply store and said, “I’ll take the cheapest and ugliest tiles you carry”. Don’t get me wrong, I love lot’s of things about our home but the tiles are seriously not our style. (imagine fleshy pink, magenta swirls and pebble textured mint green tiles.) Now if only our builder had chosen tiles by one of my favorite tile companies, Walker Zanger.
Walker Zanger was one of our sponsors for BlogTourVegas and I have had a crush on their tiles for ages. Last week I gave you a sneak peak for Friday’s Photo of some of my favorites and today I want to share even more. One of my favorites is their new line called Sterling Row. Inspired by menswear, Sterling Row is created using both porcelain tile and marble. Walker Zanger notes that the “designs are inspired by elegant fabrics, the richness of burnished leather and the luxuriously appointed shops of the finest tailors in London”.
Don’t you love these patterns? Not only to make a statement on the floor but look how great this pattern looks on the wall in the booth display.
During KBIS, they also debuted their Robert A.M Stern line of tiles. This line was a collaboration between Walker Zanger and the Robert A.M. Stern architects. The collection reinterprets classic design and elements including the ionic column and a new spin on the classic subway tile.
Both collections are beautiful and I urge you to check them out as well as all their unique tile collections here. Now if I can just pick my favorite to banish my fleshy pink, magenta swirls, and pebble textured mint green ones.
