Sometimes it’s the little things that have the most impact

It’s funny how sometimes it’s the little things that have the most impact on one’s happiness and well being. I recently completed a kitchen makeover for wonderful clients whose previous kitchen had not been updated in almost 30 years. My clients love to cook so having a pretty kitchen was important to them but having a well functioning kitchen was even more important. Now that the kitchen is done my client told me she loves everything about her new kitchen but her new Beale hands free pull down faucet is her favorite thing.

You see my client is a passionate cook and she says waving her hand under the faucet to turn on the water is a dream. No more dirty, greasy handles and she loves the clean sleek modern look. The Beale faucet is new from American Standard and it’s the Selectronic hands-free sensor that allows one to operate the faucet without touching. It also easily changes to manual mode when desired with a sliding sensor door.

Once the faucet is turned on, my client can select from one of two task-driven spray patterns, with a convenient pause button to stop the flow temporarily. According to American Standard, ” innovative Dock-Tite™ docking system and Re-Trax® retraction system work together to provide smooth operation and functionality like never before.”

The faucet is available in several finishes but we chose the stainless model to match her new stainless sink.

I’ll be sharing the kitchen full make over in an upcoming blog post but here is one more image until the full reveal.

Hummm, I wonder how long I need to wait until I can justify updating our two year old kitchen faucet???
