Another one of our amazing sponsors for BlogTourVegas was Wood-Mode fine custom cabinetry.
Many of you are already familiar with Wood-Mode as they are industry leaders in quality custom cabinetry. Founded in 1942, Wood-Mode is the nation’s largest manufacturer of custom cabinetry for kitchens, baths and other rooms throughout the home. While at KBIS we were shown many new options in cabinetry customization and this drawer wine insert was one idea that caught my eye. We often (always?) seem to have 2-3 wine bottles on our counter and with limited space I would love to have something like this.
Another thing I love as much as wine is dogs and Wood Mode’s new pet parlor is every pet owners dream. Imagine, no more accidentally kicking the water bowl or having to look at the ugly 40lb bag of dog food shoved in the corner. The pet parlor has a large sink for bathing and grooming, as well as ample storage for food, toys and brushes. I like to joke that our current dog is a “cartoon dog”. You see up until now we’ve always had “prissy dogs” that didn’t like to get dirty, go out in the rain or even acknowledge in any way that they were a dog. Our latest rescue dog though is like a cartoon dog in that he likes to chase squirrels, dig holes all over the yard and roll in unspeakable smells. Wood-Mode’s pet parlor is definitely going into my “someday I will have this” file.
During KBIS, Wood-Mode partnered with Susquehanna Service Dogs. A few of the service dogs as well as puppies in training were there to demonstrate their talents and draw attention to this worthy cause. Talk about drawing show goers to your booth…genius!
Here is one of the dogs pulling his trainer up from a seated position.
Susquehanna Service Dogs is a program of Keystone Human Services that raises and trains services dogs to assist children and adults with disabilities to become more independent. Since its founding in 1993, the organization has placed over 230 service dogs with individuals with disabilities throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding states. During the show, Wood-Mode donated $5.00 for every selfie taken with one of the service dogs and posted on social media.
Wood-Mode has so much to offer and I urge you to check out their other products HERE.
