Friday’s Photo: Creative new way to create a gallery wall

This week while at the Boston Design Center to hear Barry Dixon share his thoughts on color, I saw this creative gallery wall.

It’s simply a curtain rod fastened at either end of the wall with brackets and then the artwork is attached with two small gold chains and a pair of  S-hooks. I love this idea! You can change out the artwork at will and the s-hooks allow you to slide the frames back and forth as needed. I think this is one of the most creative ways to make a gallery wall that I have seen in awhile.

Have a great weekend everyone and check back for Tuesday’s post where I will be sharing Barry Dixon’s number one tip for creating a classic room (it’s much easier than you think).

Great idea. Looks really nice and like you said, you can switch art out for others.
    Have a great weekend!

Agreed! Love this idea and I’m going file this away in my mental rolodex.
