Friday’s Photo: Beauty in between the seasons

Last weekend we took a day drive up to our land in New Hampshire.  It’s an odd time of the year up there; not quite Winter, not yet Spring. The skiers are gone, the hikers have not yet arrived, and it is barren, quiet and deserted. The hillside was covered with bare, dormant trees with just a few Evergreens here and there. As always, I was struck by the beauty…which almost made the 40 degrees temperature bearable…although not really.

Have a great weekend everyone and I hope Spring has arrived where you are. We are still waiting.

We kind of like this time of year Linda because it is so quiet. They call it mud season. The only problem is a lot of places are closed because this is when they take their vacation.

    Have a wonderful weekend!
