Super Quick And Easy July 4th Table Decorating

July 2nd, 2012

Is it too early to say “where is the Summer going?” I can’t believe it is already July…where did June go?  I just heard a statistic that 70% of Americans will either host or attend some type of July 4th cookout or picnic. If you are the one hosting and you still haven’t thought about your table decor I thought I would share a few SUPER EASY and SUPER LOW COST ideas to add a little Red White and Blue flair to your table.

For an easy center piece, you can’t go wrong with good old American Flags. Pick up a bunch from the Dollar store and place them in glass vases or jars filled with Red White and Blue candy.

While at the same store pick up a few Red and Blue bandannas and line some glass jars that you can use to hold silverware.

Paper sparklers stuck into jars of sand are also a quick and easy last minute idea.

If you have a large American Flag you can drape it over the table and use as a runner.

Small patriotic themed pails from the discount store also makes for a quick and easy table decoration. Give each quest their own bucket filled with utensils, napkin a beverage, a flag and a box of sparklers.

This last one is pretty for after dark and if you happen to live near a field of wild flowers. Put Queen Anne’s Lace into small glass bottles to mimic the look of the burning sparklers. The display won’t last for long but will make a great presentation for serving dessert.

and what would the 4th be without a dessert that looks something like this.

I wish you all a Happy 4th of July!
